Version 1, published 31.10.2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the spoty.app website, the Spoty.app mobile apps for Android and iOS and the Spoty.app Telegram bots (together, the "Service"), provided by SIA SPOTY.APP, registration No. 40203789400, legal address Loka maģistrāle 23-5, Jelgava, Latvia ("Spoty.app", "we"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. If you run a business on Spoty.app, the Terms for Businesses also apply.
Spoty.app shows offers of cafés, restaurants and bars — lunches, breakfasts, happy hours, promotions and events — on a map and on place pages. The Service is free for users. Spoty.app is not an ordering or payment service: you order and pay directly at the place.
Offers are published by the places themselves or collected by Spoty.app from public sources. Prices, menus, times and availability may change or contain mistakes; the place is the final source, so check what matters to you with the place. The purchase of food, drinks or services is an agreement between you and the place; Spoty.app is not a party to it.
You can browse the map without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old.
You sign in with Google, Apple, Telegram or a one-time code sent to your email. You can link several sign-in methods to one account in Profile → Sign-in methods and unlink those you no longer need, as long as one method remains. Keep access to your email and your Google, Apple or Telegram accounts secure: whoever controls them can sign in to your Spoty.app account.
If a sign-in method you try to add already belongs to another Spoty.app account, you can merge the two accounts after confirming that both are yours. Spoty.app staff can undo a merge within 30 days. If you are invited to manage a business, you receive a link or an invitation code; once you accept it (for example in Profile → Invitation code), your account gets access to that brand.
In Profile → Sessions you see the devices where you are signed in and can end any of them.
Keep your account details accurate. Do not create accounts in someone else's name or use someone else's sign-in method.
You agree not to:
If you breach these Terms or the law, we may, in proportion to the breach, hide your content, limit features of your account, or suspend or close it. We tell you the reason and what it is based on by email or Telegram, unless the law or security reasons prevent it. If you disagree with the decision, write to [email protected] within 6 months; we will review it and reply.
Some features may let you post reviews, ratings, comments, photos or suggestions. You are responsible for what you post: it must describe your own experience, be lawful and must not infringe the rights of others or contain advertising.
You keep the rights to your content. By posting it you grant Spoty.app a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, reproduce and adapt it (for example resize or translate it) in the Service and when promoting the Service, for as long as it is published in the Service. We may remove content that breaches these Terms, following section 4.
Service notifications (sign-in codes, account security, offers of places in your favourites, messages about your business) are part of the Service. You choose which of them you receive and set your quiet hours in Profile → Notifications; business owners choose the channels for business notifications in Profile → Business notifications. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate consent in Profile → Consents; it is off by default and can be withdrawn at any time.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you are the only full owner of a brand, you first hand it over to another owner or give it up. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service, its design, software, database and original texts, as well as the Spoty.app name and logo, belong to SIA SPOTY.APP. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to it. Any other copying or use requires our written permission and must name Spoty.app as the source.
Names, logos, photos and offer texts of places belong to the places or their owners. Some of them are taken from publicly available sources; we do not claim ownership of them. If you own such material and want it corrected or removed, write to [email protected] — we remove it within 3 business days.
The Service contains links to other services, such as routes in Google Maps, websites of places and social networks. Their own terms apply there, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We work to keep the information current and the Service running, but we do not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate and up to date, or that the Service works without interruptions or errors.
We are not liable for:
This does not limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that mandatory consumer protection law gives you.
We may change, add or discontinue features of the Service.
When these Terms change materially, we publish a new version. If you are signed in, you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue to use your account; until then you can still sign out, read the documents or delete your account. Minor corrections that do not change the meaning (for example typos or updated contact details) are published as a new version without asking again. The version number and its date are shown at the top of this page. Earlier versions are kept.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. If you have a complaint, write to us first — most issues can be solved that way. Disputes we cannot resolve together are decided by the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may also bring a claim in its courts. In Latvia you can also turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs, www.ptac.gov.lv).
